Excited, exhausted, blessed, and really looking forward to summer, is where I am right now. Excited because next week I’m heading to Book Expo America in New York to sign advance copies of my second novel The Book of Someday. Exhausted because I’ve just finished the manuscript for my third book (all three hundred ninety eight pages!). And blessed because so many early readers of The Book of Someday have said such nice things about it.
Writing is a heart and soul effort, and when work, that you put your heart and soul into, is received with enthusiasm, it’s like being given the most beautiful gift imaginable.
Here’s to the gifts of a wonderful summer for all of us who are readers, and all of us who are writers. May we be graced with just enough excitement, and a whole lot of blessings!

Allison Donofrio at Byrd’s Books in Bethel, CT recently shared these comments on The Book of Someday:
“The Book of Someday” captured our human desire for approval in a most unique way by intertwining the lives of three strong women, all who struggle with inner as well as external conflicts in their lives. Although we don’t always receive the love and answers we’re looking for, we realize that only we have the power to make today “something stronger and better than yesterday was,” and that we have to approve of ourselves and fight off our inner demons before we can allow others to love us the way in which we deserve. Such a wonderful book!
Hi Dianne,
Love your new website! Looking forward to your new release!

Dear Diane,
I met you at the Sierra Madre Library’s Meet the Authors. My book club – in Sierra Madre has chosen your book for Jan. We would like to know if you would be able to join us for lunch or dinner( depending on the day and time you can make) and a chat?
We are looking at Sat Jan 17 for brunch – 9:30-11:30. We could also meet on any Friday eve of that month or the 2 following Saturday’s. Whatever fits to your schedule. I have now read 2 of your books and have enjoyed them both in very different ways. I look forward in hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Leslie Ziff
